Florida Oceanographic is looking for Volunteers for a variety of activities. It's a wonderful experience for all! Be a part of this mission and become a member of the Volunteer Team today!
Our mission is "to protect, preserve, and restore Florida's ocean and coastal ecosystems through education, research, and personal stewardship."
Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center Volunteers, more than 350 of them, entertain and educate over 40,000 visitors each year. In the Center and behind the scenes they share the wonders of sea life and inspire others to preserve our local and fragile aquatic habitats!

REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualities: commitment, enthusiasm, dependability, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Minimum age for volunteers is 15.
- Suggested commitment of one 4 hour shift per week (or more if interested!) Daytime and/or weekend availability required.
- Purchase of a Florida Oceanographic logo shirt or polo shirt to wear on shift.
- Attendance at Training Sessions.
