Ahoy Mateys! … Set your course for Port Royal, The Pirates Realm, the 11th annual Swashbuckler Ball on Thursday, February 25, 2010, 6:00-11:00 p.m. Plans are underway to transform Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center into our own Port Royal, and it will be an exciting evening filled with piratical fun and frolic. Grog and grub, entertainment, games, raffle and contests. Pirate treasure at the Live & Silent Auctions. This year’s Port Royal sponsor is John Pierson’s Toyota of Stuart. Shake your booty to the live music of The Jukebox Band. 

The Swashbuckler Ball is Florida Oceanographic’s major fundraiser and supports our mission to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida’s coastal ecosystems through education and research. This is being accomplished through our teaching and programming to change the generational views of how we care for and preserve our unique environments.
